The DeltaPlex Arena is in search of friendly, dedicated and hard-working persons committed to providing excellent customer service in a fun and often time’s fast paced environment. We are looking for reliable individuals with a positive attitude, willingness to learn and work well as an individual or as part of a team. Those with the ability to follow direction accurately, work quickly and efficiently, follow policies/procedures, persons should have problem solving abilities with good communication skills and the ability to react to a multitude of situations. High School Diploma preferred but, not required. Most positions require a flexible schedule and may include weekdays, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Operations: Event Setup Crew & Housekeeping
Under general supervision performs tasks as needed to clean, maintain, and tear-down/setup for events at the facility. Duties may include skilled and semi-skilled tasks, which for Setup Crew may require physical lifting and exertion. Extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays, as needed. Physical demands of the position may include lifting, carrying, moving, and climbing. Prior experience preferred though not required. Fork and boom lift experience a plus.
Food & Beverage Associate
Position includes but is not limited to taking customer orders, serving customers in a timely manner, operating and balancing the cash register, food preparation, setup, teardown and cleaning equipment, operating cooking and food preparation equipment, stocking, and bartending/bar backing. The position may require standing and working extended periods of time, the ability to adjust in a constantly changing and fast paced environment, lifting, bending, and cleaning. Previous cash handling experience preferred. Previous customer service, food service or restaurant experience is a plus.
Box Office Attendant & Ticket Taking
Position includes but is not limited to greeting guests, strong customer service, selling or collecting tickets, answering questions, maintain control of front gates, operating will-call, examining tickets or passes to verify authenticity, upholding company policies and safety procedures. Previous cash handling experience preferred.
Our goal is to provide student interns a hands on valuable experience and the opportunity to the gain the skills and knowledge of what it takes to work in the Arena or Special Events Industry. The casual, fun, upbeat, and often fast-paced environment will never leave you bored as there is always something new to be done on a daily basis! ASSISTANT TO EVENTS DIRECTOR INTERNSHIP
This is a great opportunity for a student looking to gain real world experience that can’t be taught in a classroom. We are in search of motivated individuals, passionate about the industry and hungry to grow their knowledge and skills. This program offers an opportunity to gain that knowledge. The extent of which is the direct result of the amount of effort and drive put into the internship. Interns work alongside Event Coordinators in the planning and execution of events that may include sporting events, concerts, expos, conferences, private parties, special events, and more. Interns work directly with support staff and assist with event organization, event development, logistical planning, executing and managements of events, working with sponsors, charity’s, vendor’s and promoters. There will also be opportunity to assist with Marketing, Sales, Food and Beverage and Box Office.
Hours: A minimum of 25 hours/week. Although flexible, applicants must be available some weekdays, evenings, and weekends for the full internship period.

FOOD & BEVERAGE MANAGER ASSISTANT INTERNSHIP
This is a valuable experience for anyone who has interests in gaining valuable experience in Food & Beverage for an Arena or Special Events Industry. Assist with the planning/executing concessions, bar staff, waitresses, catering, and all aspects of the Food & Beverage process. This position will directly support staff and assist with organization, development, planning, analysis, inventory, ordering, work closely with Event Directors and other departments managers, and assist in other areas when needed.
Hours: 25+/week, must be available weekdays, evenings, and weekends. Flexible schedule.
